Inovations
While RanchersLand draws inspiration from the mechanics of early blockchain farming games, it introduces several key innovations aimed at enhancing player security, optimizing resource efficiency, and ensuring long-term economic sustainability.
The following improvements clearly distinguish RanchersLand as a modern evolution of the genre:
👥 Secure Assistant System
In earlier blockchain farming games, many players fell victim to scams after sharing their wallet keys with friends or rental services. Although two-factor authentication systems were later implemented to address this, they often introduced unnecessary complexity and user friction.
RanchersLand offers a simpler and safer alternative through the Assistant System. Players can assign a trusted wallet as their assistant, allowing them to remotely perform limited actions:
Claim rewards
Repair tools
Add stamina
Sensitive operations such as crafting, withdrawing, and unstaking can only be performed by the main account holder. This strikes a balance between social collaboration and wallet security without compromising ownership.
💸 Tokenized RCOIN Instead of NFT-Based Currency
In some earlier farming NFT games, players earned crafting tokens as NFTs themselves. However, this system came with significant drawbacks:
It led to excessive and unnecessary NFT minting
Caused significant RAM consumption on the WAX blockchain
Created illiquid in-game value
RanchersLand replaces this inefficient model with a fungible RCOIN token:
RCOIN is earned directly as a token (not NFT)
It can be used in-game or withdrawn to a player’s wallet
It is freely tradable on external markets
This design drastically reduces blockchain overhead while giving players more liquidity and flexibility.
🔥 Passive Token Burn Mechanism
To maintain a sustainable economy, RanchersLand features a passive burn system that gradually reduces token supply through regular usage.
Whenever a player transfers any token (RANCH, FARM, TOOL, or RCOIN) from one wallet to another outside the game, a 0.25% portion of the transferred amount is automatically burned.
The burned tokens are removed from the total supply
This creates ongoing deflationary pressure
Token usage becomes self-regulating and value-supportive
As a result, the ecosystem benefits from an invisible but continuous burn mechanism tied directly to real player behavior.
